Learn the digital and other functions on
your camera and how to use them successfully to improve your
pictures. This is a course that requires a digital camera with
aperture and shutter controls. Come to class knowing how to find the
contrast setting on your camera, and expect some homework.
Please bring your camera manual.

Travel Photography

Learn how to capture your trip in a
visually pleasing manner by creating themes and stories of your
pictures. Some technical aspects of travel photography will be
discussed. This course will be illustrated by Bob�s photographs from
many parts of the world and is for the photographer with any kind of
camera.

resides in Edmonton. Bob has developed his own course material and
teaches digital camera courses through Metro Continuing Education in
Edmonton. Bob is a great teacher and communicator.
Chip Carving
6 hours
The main objective of this course is to
provide you with comprehensive instruction in the fundamentals of chip
carving in an enjoyable weekend. You will learn how to sharpen your
knife (bring your own, or buy one there); draw a pattern; and then
learn how to chip carve from a selection of projects. Supplies
included. This course can be for beginner or intermediate carvers.
