Leaders in Literacy, Leisure, and Life Skills

Adult Literacy
CLASS offers a volunteer-based literacy program designed to help adults who are learning the English language, or who have other literacy needs. Students work one-on-one with a volunteer tutor. Sessions are designed to address individual needs, which might include:
· improving English pronunciation
· learning to read better
· help with spelling
· understanding English sayings
· gaining confidence in speaking English
· improving math skills

We are always looking for volunteer tutors to assist our adult students. Books and training are provided. All you need is a willing heart and a desire to help. Email or call us at 853-5485 for more information.

Check out our Parents and Tots programs for fun and quality time with babies and pre-schoolers.

Interagency Meetings
CLASS operates the local Interagency council. We have over 25 agencies and community members who share their information and work toward providing well balanced programs for our community. Everyone is welcome to attend the Interagency meetings held at 11:30 a.m. on the second Thursday of every other month [October, December, February and April]. For more information contact CLASS at 853-5485.

Collective Kitchens
A Collective Kitchen is a group of people meeting monthly to prepare nutritious, economical meals for their families and loved ones. Through Alberta Learning funding, Collective Kitchens are available in Vermilion, Dewberry, and Clandonald.
