This course is a requirement for persons wishing to apply for a Possession and Acquisition License in order to purchase non-restricted firearms and ammunition. Firearms handling and safety will be presented, demonstrated, and practiced throughout the course.

BLENDED LEARNING:
Complete an online portion of the course 2-4 weeks prior to the scheduled classroom component. Students are only required to spend one day in class for the practical portion
(which needs to be completed within 6 weeks of completing the online component).

A conservation officer will teach you the basics of survival; what should be in your first aid kits for the vehicle, at work, and at home; how to create a 72 hour kit for emergency preparedness and what you can eat to survive in the wilderness. Families welcome!
