BUILD IT WITH POWER TOOLS

Expert Lakeland Carpentry Instructor will teach you how to use carpentry power tools (cordless drills, band saws, mitre saws, table saws, power sanders, routers, biscuit jointers, planers, etc.) to build a project of your choice.  Tips on what material works best for your project will be given and can be purchased through the Instructor or at retail outlets. Create your own wood project with the guidance of a knowledgeable & enthusiastic Carpentry Instructor.  Don’t delay, come experience Lakeland College.  Ages 16 & up.

CAKE DECORATING – FALL BASKET

Wow your guests this Thanksgiving with an incredible, edible cake (Fall basket) centerpiece. This beautiful cake is accompanied by cereal apples and a pumpkin. Learn the techniques used to transform rice crispy treat into realistic fruit, then embellish your dessert with fondant sunflowers and fall leaves. All you need to bring for these fun filled classes is yourself, but if you have some fondant tools you would like to bring, feel free to do so.

WILLOW CREATIONS

Decorate your yard, patio or home with a willow planter, chair, loveseat or arbore! Learn how to manipulate and drill the willow branches together to design a unique willow creation for yourself or for a Christmas gift. If you choose to make a chair, loveseat, or Arbore you will need to bring a partner to assist you. All materials are supplied. Please bring 2 cordless drills and a truck for transportation if making one of the larger projects. Please also bring a bagged lunch.
